Description

This 6″ Pink Anthurium plant is a durable and easy-care houseplant that is sure to brighten up any room. This type of air plant requires bright, indirect sunlight and needs to be watered regularly, allowing the soil to partially dry out between waterings. Usually mistaken for flowers, Anthuriums feature colorful waxy leaves called spathes that flare from the base of the fleshy spikes where the actual tiny flowers grow. To ensure robust, repeat colorful spathes, allow the plant to rest for a few months in a cool area with little watering in the winter before moving it back into a brightly lit room. With its bright colors, easy care and long-lasting blooms, this Pink Anthurium is the perfect addition to any home or office.

Temperature: thrives at 70-90 F
Water: allow soil to dry out before next watering. water less in the winter months.
Humidity: high* but can tolerate more dryness.

* To raise the humidity you can:

• Place the plant in a shallow saucer full of pebbles and add water to the saucer until the pebbles are almost submerged.
• Use a humidifier.

This plant is toxic if ingested. Keep away from pets and small children. May also cause skin irritation.
