Description

The Piper Crocatum sometimes referred to as the “Celebes Pepper, ” is grown for it's ornamental leaves. The tops of the heart shaped leaves are glossy, olive green with pink and silver mottling, while the backs are blood red. Preferring shade and temps between 55 and 95 degrees, this plant will grow trailing to 6-8 feet or more.

Suitable for large terrarium growing, they can be supported to climb on a pole or vine down in a hanging basket. They are sturdy but slow growing and only need to be pruned to keep shape and size controlled.
